Man accused of murder escapes from Trelawny court


A man accused of murder is on the run after escaping from the Falmouth Police on Monday.

The escapee has been identified as Romario Green, otherwise called 'Boo', of Thorpe Street in Trelawny.

Mr. Green was charged with murder, conspiracy to murder, wounding with intent, simple larcency and house-breaking.

According to a police statement, about 2:40 p.m., Mr. Green escaped while in custody at the Trelawny Parish Court.

The police are appealing to anyone with information on Mr. Green's whereabouts to contact the Falmouth Criminal Investigation Branch at 876-954-3271, or call the 119 emergency number, or the nearest police station.
